Never Let Go - Bryan Adams

Can you lay your life down
So a stranger could live

Can you take what you need
but take less than you give

Could you close everyday
Without the glory and fame

Could you hold your head high
when no one knows your name

That's how legends are made
At least, that's what they say

We say goodbye
but never let go
we live - we die
cause you cant save every soul
gotta take every chance to
show that you're that kind of man who
never look back, never look down
and never let go

Can you lose everything
you ever had planed

can you sit down again
And play another hand

Could you risk everything
for the chance to be alone
and the prize you'll find the grace
Once you come and done

That's how legend are made
At least, that's what they say

We say goodbye
but never let go
we live - we die
cause you cant save every soul
gotta take every chance to
Show that you're that kind of man who
never look back never look down
never let go

A few hrs b4 my bday...

There are just a few hrs more b4 my 22nd bday. And it is actually my 22nd bday now if i m in msia. For those who had already wished me happy bday in advance, thank u! For those who are goin to wish me, thank u in advance!

I nvr nvr really understand the meaning of my bday until i started studyin away fr home.I used to think that bday is the day where i can rcv bday presents n be able to eat a delicious bday cake. I always thought that bday was the day when i can hav a good party with friends and hang out with them till v late. But this year, i m goin to dedicate my 1st bday wish for my parents.

22 yrs ago, at around this time. While every1 was slping, my mum was actually experiencing the pain which was so great until she might still b able to recall it now, just a few hrs b4 she gave birth to me. N i m pretty sure that at tat time, my dad was actually waiting anxiously outside the delivery theatre, waiting for the arrival of his 1st child to the world. And a few hrs later, I was born. Owing to the great pain which was endured by my mum b4, during n after the delivery.

I was then brought up by my parents in a happy environment. My family is not very rich, yet my parents always try their very best to provide me everything that they can afford. Although sometimes i was disappointed as i cudnt get everything thati wanted last time, i m very grateful that now i am able to appreciate and b grateful for everything that i rcv fr my parents.

I couldnt imagine how many slpless nites n uncountable heartbroken moments which i hav given to my parents whenever i made mistakes or fall sick. Yet, they nvr giv up on me. They continue to believe me. They continue to guide me. They are always the biggest support in my life. They nvr expect anything but just 1 thing fr me - they just want their son to be happy n healthy.

So, just a few hrs away for another significant day in my life, i wud like to express my biggest gratitude to both my parents. You are always the best bday presents in each n every bday in my life.

Just some little thoughts b4 i m turning 22

It is impossible to stop the forward march of time. And that's y, I am going to be 22 quite soon. Certainly, the 22nd bday is not so significant as compared to the 21st bday because a person is officially an adult (in msia) when s/he turn 21 fr 20. When a person turns 22, it just signifies the start of the 2nd year of his or her adulthood.

However, my 22nd bday means a lot to me. It is not just the starting point of my 2nd year of adulthood but it is also a turning point for me to be a more mature (not mature looking =P) person.

For the past 1 year, I experienced quite a number of events, either happy or sad. To be honest i dun think i m fit to be called an adult because most of the time i handled my life quite emotionally. If u know me long enough, u might discover that i m now not so rational n confident when i m facing challenges in my life. Sometimes i could just dwell on sth for a long time and couldnt make rational decisions. This is not good.

I m still learning to be an adult who can totally manage my life well. I dont hope to be a perfect man and i dun think i will b able to be one, but i just want to be a person that i wanna b - person who can live his life to the fullest and never go back on his words. I wanna spend more quality time with my family and friends. I wanna do my best in everything that i m doing now and things that i will do in the future. I also wanna learn to let things go if i cant achieve them after trying all my best.

This year, I m goin to be a real adult. Hopefully i will.

Don't Worry, Be Happy

I heard this song once few years ago. It was a background music of a cute flash.

Just now, I heard this song for the 2nd time after I copied some songs from Gayetri's CD.

"Don't Worry, Be Happy!"

Quotable quote

Gayetri gave me a very meaningful quotation 2day:

Dont worry worry unless worry worries you.
If u worry worry, it will double worry you.

Thanks Gayetri!

I like having meals in Colum 9.

It is nice to see my housemates cooking n eating in the kitchen - the only common area that we have in the house. And of coz, it is also nice to have dinner together with them. We will chat happily or just crap 'lamely' (i think they will most probably say i m the onli 1 who is being lame. =P). No matter how, I still enjoy being together with them. They are not just nice ppl, they are GREAT!!!!

Well, in conclusion, i like Colum 9 coz i like my housemates!

Come, marilah makan, Columates!

A phone conversation with my PAPA

I cant remember when was the last time i had a proper phone conversation with my papa. Most of the time our conversation was like "how r u 2day?" "fine" "anything else u wanna say?" "nope" "take k" "take k pa". I know some of u might b wondering wat the heck with this??? Sorry... i admit i was jz being lazy to ask him anything more in detail. I m a bad son. :(

2day, he called me while i was singing in my room (=P). When we started chatting, i felt that mayb i shud b more 'talkative' so i just kept on chatting n chatting with him. We really chatted as if we are 2 old frens. :)

In the middle of our conversation, he said, "we shud always try our best to go for the best option. But if we failed to achieve wat we want, we shud learn how to let it go. We must b flexible in our life."

Yes, papa. I will always rmb wat u had told me just now.

8 days in Switzerland - 2nd day: Lucerne

According to our initial plan, we were supposed to go for a boat trip around Zurich Lake at around 10am. However, we woke up at 930 am as we were too tired to get up at 7 sth. Well, we din have any other choice but to skip all the excursions in Zurich and left for Lucerne after having a good bfast at the youth hostel.

The bfast served in Zurich Youth Hostel...yummy!!!

We reached Lucerne in the afternoon. As usual, we went to the tourist info counter to get some maps. Usually ZL n Lav will b goin straight to the counter to ask the staff what can we do in the place. Caroline will b busy collecting every pamphlets displayed on the shelves. I wud either follow Carol or just looking at souveniers (ya...i was a bit lazy.. =P).

Then we found our way to the hotel. I couldnt remember exactly wat was the name of the hotel but then i quite liked the room as there was a balcony overlooking a river.

WK, the balcony and the river.

Lucerne was a very beautiful town. It wasnt v ulu yet it was not a busy place. There were two bridges which symbolised the town. One was named Kapellbrucke and the other 1 was called Spreuerbrucke. Both bridges were made of wood and were very very old already.

Lav. U can see there is a wooden bridge in the background. However i m not very sure whether it is Kapellbrucke or Spreuerbrucke. =P

After a short walk in the town center, we decided to go to the Verkehrshaus (the Swiss Transport Museum). Just b4 we entered the museum, we were attracted by the beautiful sunset at the lake region which was just 200m away from the museum. So as usual, another photo session for us. Haha...

As the name of the museum suggested, we saw planes, boats, trains, cars, bikes and etc etc (except for UFO) in it. Most of them were very very old except for sportcars and motorbikes.

I was carrying an aeroplane of the Swissair. Ho ho ho...

After visiting the museum, we then jln jln in the town b4 went back to the hotel to tidur.

8 days in Switzerland - 1st day: Zurich

After spending a night shivering+slping at Heathrow Terminal 4, my neck muscles were aching when i woke up at around 5am. I was the one who slp the most compared to ppl in my group. They only slp for 2-3 hrs.

So we all woke up at 5am, wondering whether our luck will be better to hop on any planes flying to Swiss, either to Geneva or Zurich. Some morning flights to other destinations in Europe were cancelled due to heavy fog again. However, there was a flight to Geneva at 650am which was in 'waiting' status. We were quite anxious about this and seriously prayed hard so that the only morning flight wouldnt been cancelled. IF it was cancelled, we will have to change our 'Swiss Trip' to 'London & Cardiff Trip'.

Thank God, our prayers were answered well. We were so lucky to be given the seats on the only morning flight to Geneva at 650am. And so we were leaving on a jet plane....

We reached Geneva safely at around 9-ish in the morning. After purchased the 8-day Swiss Travel Pass (CHF 272 = roughly GBP 136), we then took a train fr Geneva Airport to Zurich Train Station.

I was reading 'Lonely Planet - Switzerland' on our way to Zurich. Photographer was Lav. =P

It took us around 2.5 hrs to reach Zurich. The train station was really really huge compared to Victoria Station in London or KL Sentral in KL. Trains arrived and departed fr this station very frequently. This would explain why we needed to pay so much for the travel pass.

We took this pic on our way to Zurich Youth Hostel. Lav was again the photographer. Thanks, Lav!

After checked-in to our room, we left our luggages there n quickly went to the city centre. Zurich was a big city where u can shop non-stop for one whole day. Well, i dun really fancy shopping but i still liked to jalan jalan on the highstreets as it was interesting to c the locals walking and shopping. Most of them were dressed up nicely as the living standard there was very high. Zurich and too-rich sound quite similar, don't you think so?

Part of a busy shopping street

Me n ZL standing in front of a stall selling Glühwein(boiled wine, it tasted like wine but it wasnt chilled but was boiled instead, a bit like chinese herbal wine =P)

Due to the delayed flight, we werent able to travel much in Zurich bside window-shopping. Well, it was pity that we din get to explore Zurich properly but i think we all got an experience in the airport which we will never forget. 'Everything happens for a reason.' For every lesson that we learnt in life, we need to pay for it. We wasted a day of our trip, but we got to know each other better and went thru a hard time together-gether.

Next post: goin to Lucern

More than words

I like singing.

Hahaha...but too bad...my voice memang tak boleh pakai sangat.

Anyway, it doesnt really matter since i onli sing to express my feelings, whether happy or sad.

Songs can actually heal the soul, either by just listening to them or singing them.

Sometimes, actions really speak louder than words.
