Recharging batteries

If I tell u that I've got no problem right now, it must be a lie.
If I tell u that I don't need a break now, it must be a bigger lie.

Well, facing problems and solving them are part of our life, don't you agree?

Keep ourselves motivated is also part of our life too. This is why I am taking a break now to get my batteries recharged.

Consumed by the Cold

It was 9 degrees Celsius this morning when i woke up. The sun was very bright but it did not seem to deliver its warmth to me.

Winter, you are moving closer n closer to me now, aren't you?

I must get ready to hibernate soon!

A Quick Update

Hi people! Nth much has occured since i came back from the short trips to Exmoor and Brecon Beacons. Oh yeah... I did go out for a meal to celebrate 2 friends' bdays. Apart from that, I had a kinda 'predicted' timetable which I had to go for placement in the day and came back at dinner time and then slept till the next morning to repeat the 'cycle'.

Will probably talk a bit more about my placement if i have the mood n time. =P

Brecon Beacons National Park

Went to Brecon Beacons National Park 1 day after my Exmoor National Park trip. This time I went with Chee Han only as Alan was not free to join us.

Brecon Beacons is situated north to Cardiff, approximately 1 hr drive away. Like previous trip to Exmoor, Chee Han and I drove to there.

That's all about my trip to Brecon. will definitely visit there again as I really like the scenaries there and I kinda enjoy driving at the hilly area. =P

A Trip to Exmoor National Park

I just went to the Exmoor National Park which is situated at the south-west of England. Alan and Chee Han were my two travel mates for this trip.

We rented a car for this trip. You can see me driving in this pic while alan was playing the role as the co-driver. This pic was of course taken by Chee Han who was sitting at the back.

My New Nest

Summer break was officially over on the 1st of September. And I was back in Cardiff on the same day as well. And this would mark the beginning of another challenging year for wei kang aka me. =P

I moved to a new house this year. I was supposed to give a brief intro about my new nest a week ago but the time didnt agree with my plan so it was postponed until today.

Before we begin the photo tour of my house, let me just give you some basic info about my house. This year I am living with 2 friends. The house is not huge but it's quite cosy (albeit a lil bit cold) for 3 occupants. It has 3 rooms, a living room, a kitchen and a bathroom. Also it has a relatively spacious backyard which is suitable to host a BBQ session! Hehe~

Ladies and gentlemen, this is your Captain speaking. We are about to begin our photo tour now. Please fasten your seatbelt, thank you! Now sit back and enjoy the photo tour:

We are now at the front of my house.

This is the main door of the house.

Behind the main door, there's a small hallway where we put our shoes and bikes as well as some DIY tools (which belong to the landlord). Can you see the white side door on your left? We are gonna open it now.

You can now see the staircase leading to my room. On your right, that's the door of the living room.

After walking up the stairs, we can now see the door of my room.

Tada~ The view of my room after the door is opened. As you can see, there's another door in my room which leads to a smaller room. That's also part of my room. It's confusing but i shall explain to you a lil bit more as we continue our tour. From this angle, you can see a sofa on your right, a small table to put some snacks (in the plastic bag) and water, a chair, a mirror 'sitting' on another chair and my bed. Now I am goin to bring you to the sofa area n take a look at the other side of this room.

From this angle you can now see the other side of the room. Behind the door, there's a small storage area.

This is a closer view of my bed.

This is a view from the storage area of my room. You can see the Welsh flag at the top left of this photo. We will take a closer look at the display rack after the next pic.

And here's the view from my bed looking at the door of my room.

This is the closer look of my display rack.

We are now at the entrance to the smaller room of my room. There's a sofa and a mattress in this room. On the right, we can see a chair, that's part of my working station.

Now this is the view of my working station.

View from another angle on my working station.

We are now looking at the backyard from the window of my smaller room. We are now leaving my room and going downstairs.

This is the living room. Next to the living room, we can see the kitchen area.

Another pic of the living room.

This is the kitchen. The toilet is at the far end of the kitchen, next to the black laundry basket.

The view of the kitchen from the other end of it.

And lastly, the bathroom of my house. This will be the end of our photo tour today. I hope you enjoyed the trip. Thank you!
